Thank you to all our patients for adhering to the govermant guidance and adjusting to the new way in which the practice is operating.
For the time being, we will continue offering only same day GP appointments (Telephone appointments in the first instance) to ensure that social distancing is managed within our small waiting area.
The GP may also ask you to participate in a Video Call or ask you to send pictures electronically if possible to minimise contact. If appropriate, a Face to Face appointment will be offered if a physical examination is required only. You will still be required to wear a face mask if attending the practice until further notice.
We request that you continue to follow goverment guidance on infection Control and Social Distancing to minimise risk to you and your friends/family.
We are working very hard to vaccinate as many of our patients as quickly as possible with the COVID Vaccination. If you are over 50 and have not had a vaccination, please contact the practice as soon as possible.
If you are under 50, please contact the 119 service for more information and your eligibilty at this time.
We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone and our staff will do everything that they can within reason to help as many patients as possible based on the capacity that we have. Please note, most telephone consultations will have been taken by 9am.
We are no longer offering a walkin service for patients, however are happy to still register new patients via this website.
Our Nursing Team have now restarted recalling patients with Long Term Conditons for their annual reviews. Our team have already pro-actively started to contact those of you that are overdue a review.
If you need repeat medication, please email the practice in the first instance email@example.com Please note your prescription will be sent to a Pharmacy and you will not be able to collect it from our Reception desk. You may get a call back from one of our Practice Based Pharmacists. Please make sure you give us a telephone number that we can easily contact you on. Calls from the practice will be from a withheld number.
Douglas Pharmacy (onsite) will remain open as usual. Please note they may not have the medication in stock due to this national crisis. They are unable to offer you a delivery service at this time. Please call them on 020 7837 6861 before visiting them to confirm that stock is available. Please note, the pharmacy is independant of the practice and all quiries should be directed to them directly.
Please avoid coming to the practice. Call 111 for non-coronavirus quiries or if you have the symptoms visit the online service at https://111.nhs.uk or for emergencies 999. Please only attend A&E as a last resort as they will be under immense pressure at this time.
We must also advice you that your hospital appointments and tests may also be cancelled by the Hospitals as they deal with essential or high prioroty cases at this time.
Thank you for your understanding and for supporting the NHS and other emergency services. We also request that you reach out to people that live on their own, especially the elderly and provide assitance if safe to do so.
